DMCA Takedown Policy
Last updated: May 2026
1. Our Commitment
Flickaid respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our platform.
2. What Users May Not Upload
When using Flickaid, you may not upload, submit, or use any content — including product images, reference videos, audio, or text — that you do not have the right to use. This includes content protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights belonging to a third party. You are solely responsible for all content you upload to the platform.
3. Reporting a Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content available through Flickaid infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA contact containing all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (URL, description, or screenshot).
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
Send your notice to: flickaid.support@gmail.com with the subject line DMCA Takedown Notice.
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to the same email address containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of a federal court in your district, or if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Flickaid may be found.
5. Repeat Infringers
Flickaid has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that has received multiple valid DMCA notices.
6. Response Time
We aim to acknowledge valid DMCA notices within 2 business days and to action confirmed infringement takedowns within 5 business days of receiving a complete, valid notice.
7. No Legal Advice
This policy is not legal advice. If you are unsure whether material infringes your copyright, consult a qualified attorney before submitting a takedown notice. Submitting a false or misleading DMCA notice may expose you to liability.
